Dr. Howard Hendricks wrote this: "If anything has kept me on track all these years, it's being skewed to this principle of central focus. There are many things I can do, but I have to narrow it down to the one thing I must do. The secret of concentration is elimination." If you had to narrow your life statement to one word/sentence what would it be? What is the one thing you must do?

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately on this very subject. :-) There are so many things that I have on my calendar because I'm expected to do them. My passion lies in missions and I find that so often I cannot take part in the opportunities before me because I have "responsibilities and commitments" elsewhere. I'm really trying to focus on what God has to say to me and what He has for me to do, in order to figure out what needs to be removed from my schedule and what needs to be added. Easier said than done. :-)
